Balancing work, billie, health & wellness, downtime and general life.

Balancing our full time jobs, billie & co., health and wellbeing and downtime is definitely a juggling act, however, there are a few things that we’ve learned along the way to make sure we don’t burn out!
✅ Embracing slow progress. Not every day and week needs to be bursting at the seams with accomplishments. Just 1-2 things is a win! We’re in it for the long haul, so we appreciate that small steps are still leading us in the right direction.
🚴♀️ Keeping active. A big one for us both! Health and wellbeing plays a huge part in our lives, and getting outdoors or having a sweat-out at the gym makes us FEEL good, and motivates us to do bigger and better each day.
🧘♀️ Staying flexible. A more grounded point we both accepted from the start is that due dates on tasks aren’t always the priority. Balancing a whole range of things in our lives day-to-day means no week is going to be the same, and we trust that we’ll get to it when there’s no clashing priorities (of course with this one, we keep our communication clear!).
❤️ Prioritising you. Whether it’s 30 minutes or a whole day, we put aside time to do something that will make us feel GOOD. From face masks, reading a few chapters of a book, shopping therapy, getting fresh air, or deep cleaning the house (you KNOW this makes you feel good), we both try and do something that will make us feel recharged and happy.
Ultimately, it’s not just about the goal, and for us it’s about enjoying the process and learning as much as we can along the way.
